Bio

Lisa is a business leader and brand strategist currently doing independent consulting with an emphasis on Purpose driven business transformation. She believes the companies that will lead the future and deliver the greatest impact and financial performance will be those driven by the pursuit of inspired ideas.

She has enjoyed a range of global and executive leadership positions most recently with NIKE Inc (2001 – 2014) that span General Management, Strategy and Business Development positions in NIKE’s $23bn Global Sporting Goods business through to leadership of NIKE’s Corporate Philanthropy and Global Community Investment efforts.

Lisa was most recently Vice President, NIKE Inc Access to Sport where she founded a global effort within NIKE to work across its business, the Sports Industry and sectors of government, education, private sector and civil society to increase participation in sports and physical activity. In this capacity she co-authored the publication Designedtomove (www.designedtomove.org) Prior to that she lead the Nike Foundation as Managing Director and launched the multi-award winning concept the girl effect (www.girleffect.org) and expanded the Foundation’s operations and partnerships to influence over $500m in direct resourcing. Her commercial leadership roles with NIKE focused predominately on business turnaround efforts ranging from re-configuring Nike’s approach to direct retail, strategic growth and profitability initiatives and across NIKE’s USA Footwear, Apparel and Equipment businesses to repositioning the Women’s business for growth.

Prior to joining NIKE, Lisa was co-founder of Tokyo-based Business Breakthrough, Inc and independent consultant for Ohmae & Associates. She began her professional career with KPMG in Queensland, Australia.

Lisa is currently an advisor to the World Economic Forum’s Healthy Living Initiative; The Global Agenda Council for Mental Health and Wellbeing 2013 – 2014, is a World Economic Forum Young Global Leader, Founding Chair of the World Sporting Goods Industry’s Physical Activity Committee; and Commissioner for the Knight Foundation and Aspen Institute’s “Information Needs of Communities Living in a Democracy”.
