Arup Ganguly is a board director at Global Gene Corp (GGC). GGC aims to deliver precision medicine applications for all by acquiring genomic data for under-explored populations in Emerging Markets and thereby rectify the current bias in the global genomic database.
Prior to joining GGC, Arup spent almost three decades in investment banking. He was a Managing Partner and founder at KNG Securities LLP (KNG), an independent secondary market brokers of corporate bonds and primary financing advisor to mid cap corporate issuers. Arup was also the India country head. Before KNG, Arup spent 11 years in the employment of Goldman Sachs where he was a director within their bond sales and trading business.
Outside of work, Arup was also the founding chairman of the global community volunteering initiative, Sewa Day. Sewa Day 2014 (the last year that Arup served as Chairman) attracted over 100,000 volunteers from over 25 countries. Arup resides in North London with his wife and three sons.
